Most people treat their website like their car. As long as it working and not causing trouble, they tend to ignore what’s going on under the bonnet. While this can continue for a while, it is a bad policy for something as important to your business as your website.
There are so many examples I have seen over the years of websites being broken or worse, hacked due to neglect. The stress of this happening to a business owner plus the cost of reinstatement is not pleasant.
